  This is a tiny tune-up in preparation for iOS 26.1. Apple now keeps the standard miniplayer visible in SwiftUI apps, so we taught ours some manners.

  Updates v1.8 is a quick “summer release” that adds some user-requested features and improves app functionality in several areas. I hope you enjoy it!

  This release keeps building on my vision for Updates: getting you to the stuff you want to listen to with as little fuzz as possible.

  The most visually obvious change in this release is the switch from the old “generic blue” theme to a more vibrant purple. Of course, Premium subscribers can still choose any app icon and accent color they like.

  This release focuses on adding a premium listening history feature. Additionally, the miniplayer is (again!) receiving some attention. Also, I cleaned up the styling of the home screen.

  This release focuses on adding a new premium sleep timer feature. Alongside this addition, the full screen player got a little TLC.

  This release focuses on improving the appearance of the paywall and miniplayer. I’ve been tweaking the miniplayer for a while now. It is one of few custom components in an app that is otherwise aligning with iOS standard UI. So, I want to make sure it has a bit of personality.

  This release focuses on a new premium feature to allow appearance customization.

  This release focuses on onboarding and miniplayer improvements.

  The first version! Well almost. 1.0 was first, but due to an unfortunate paywall issue it had to be replaced very quickly.
