This release focuses on making listening more personal and convenient—especially on the go.
Customize Your Player
The full-screen player is now yours to configure. At least to some extent. In the new Player Buttons settings, you can choose which controls appear in the bottom row of the main player screen. Want quick access to Mark as Played instead of the sleep timer? Swap it out.
This level of customization means the player adapts to your workflow, not the other way around. Access the new settings under Settings → Player Settings → Buttons.
CarPlay Gets Smarter
If you spend time listening in the car, this update is for you. CarPlay now includes:
- Saved Episodes — Get to your bookmarked and downloaded episodes without touching your phone.
- Listening History — Jump back to something you heard recently.
- Filters — Use the same powerful filters as on iPhone: show only unplayed, or just today’s updates.
- Mark as Played — Finish an episode from the CarPlay player with a single tap.
These additions bring CarPlay much closer to the iPhone experience and make managing your queue on the road easier than ever.
