This release focuses on adding a premium listening history feature. Additionally, the miniplayer is (again!) receiving some attention. Also, I cleaned up the styling of the home screen.
- Listening history: new (paywalled) feature showing the last 1000 played episodes
- Search: now includes listening history in search results (this means we’ll find played episodes in podcasts you don’t follow)
- Podcast details: added episode artwork to items
- Miniplayer: visual enhancements to the “gradient blur” to address unexpected “cloudiness” in dark mode.
- Home screen and saved episodes: cleaner list styling
- Black app icon: improved appearance in dark mode
- What’s New screen: added “Show More” button to see older news.
- Onboarding: updated screenshots to be dark in dark mode.
- Onboarding: cleaned up footer treatment in “suggested podcasts” screen.
